Influence of weed management practices on direct-seeded rice grown under rainfed and irrigated agroecosystems

چکیده
Rice seedlings and weeds emerge concurrently in direct-seeded rice (DSR) production systems, while there is no flooding water to inhibit weed germination, emergence development at crop emergence. Because of this, are considered the biggest living barrier DSR significantly reduce yield. The purpose research was devise an approach for management cultivated under various agroecosystems, optimizing growth utilizing herbicides or herbicidal combinations. impacts several techniques were assessed determine most efficient cost-effective managing CoA, JNKVV, Jabalpur (MP) during 2019 rainy season spilt plot design with 2 main treatments viz., rainfed agroecosystem, irrigated agroecosystem 8 sub-plot treatments, i.e. different herbicide hand weeding weedy check. Further parameters as well yield attributes documented. Conventional statistical used evaluate data. Bispyribac sodium dose 25 g/ha efficiently controlled both narrow broad leaved agroecosystems. Highest recorded agroecosystems compared treatment bispyribac produced greatest values indices maximum (3.68 t/ha), exception manual weeding.

Effect of Weed Management and Seed Rate on Crop Growth under Direct Dry Seeded Rice Systems in Bangladesh
Weeds are a major constraint to the success of dry-seeded rice (DSR). The main means of managing these in a DSR system is through chemical weed control using herbicides. However, the use of herbicides alone may not be sustainable in the long term. Approaches that aim for high crop competitiveness therefore need to be exploited. One such approach is the use of high rice seeding rates. Experiment...
متن کاملTraits and QTLs for development of dry direct-seeded rainfed rice varieties
The development of rice varieties for dry direct-seeded conditions can be accelerated by selecting suitable traits. In the present investigation, traits hypothesized to be important for direct-seeded conditions in rainfed systems, including seedling emergence, early vegetative vigour, nutrient uptake, nodal root number, and root hair length and density, were characterized to study the genetic c...
متن کاملResponse of Rice Genotypes to Weed Competition in Dry Direct-Seeded Rice in India
The differential weed-competitive abilities of eight rice genotypes and the traits that may confer such attributes were investigated under partial weedy and weed-free conditions in naturally occurring weed flora in dry direct-seeded rice during the rainy seasons of 2011 and 2012 at Ludhiana, Punjab, India. The results showed genotypic differences in competitiveness against weeds. In weed-free p...
متن کاملInfluence of tiller heterogeneity on yield components of rice grown under different nitrogen regimes
Increase in rice yield under excessive nitrogen (N) supply is negligible, hence it is necessaryto analyze the limiting factors via yield components. The present study was carried out during2014 and 2015 growing seasons in order to quantify the yield componenents of different typesof tiller at various N levels. Tillers were divided into three different types (superior, mediumand inferior) based ...
